Halo was born from a calling

The name itself came to me in prayer, put on my heart by God. As a believer, I know this wasn’t an accident. I had been searching for what I was supposed to do next, and the answer became clear with time. And, the name Halo came to be before the eventual framework of what is now the company.

The meaning is powerful. A halo is more than just a symbol, to me, it represents the real world manifestation of God’s presence and protection. Like a guardian angel, a halo is always with us, surrounding us with light and guidance. And as we think about health and healing, that guidance is something we desperately need. It certainly was for me.

My Personal Connection

Halo grew out of years of personal struggle. My own journey with physical, mental, and emotional health was long, painful, and full of trial and error. I wrestled with anxiety, depression, and countless setbacks before finally discovering answers through a functional medicine approach. And I believe fully, that God’s hand was in all of it. Every frustration, every dead end, every small win was preparing me for this.

That’s why Halo isn’t just another health company. It’s a comprehensive way of thinking about wellness, what Dr. Attia refers to as Medicine 3.0, that integrates mind, body, and spirit.
